70 F250 Sport Custom Camper Special

Hi Guys, brand new to your forums. Starting work on my late grandfather's truck. It need love as something that old would. I'm starting with getting the engine in running order. But while i do that i'm going to start ordering pieces like the sport custom logo on the bed and camper special by the doors. I was hoping you guys could point me to a couple of places that would offer either oem or repo's. Please let me know what you can thanks and I'll start posting pics of the progress.

Welcome to FTE

D0TZ-9925622-C .. 1970/72 F100/250 SportCustom Nameplate / Right/Left is the same / Mounts on rear of quarter panels (bedsides) / Obsolete/Reproduced

Verify that the following THREE sources have NOS genuine Ford parts, because they could be reproductions:

NOS PARTS SOURCE in Olathe KS has ONE = 913-220-5746.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has ONE = 800-543-4959.

WESLEY OBSOLETE PARTS in Liberty KY has TWO = 606-787-5293.

Reproduced by Dennis Carpenter @ $50.00 each / Shown on page 63 of his 1967/79 truck repro parts catalog (2011 paper edition) / Call 800-476-9653 order a catalog, it's free.

A pal of mine just bought a 'good user' at the Pomona swapmeet for 10 bucks. There's a couple more 'good users' at a local Ford obsolete parts store (San Dimas). Dunno what they are asking for them.

There are two repro parts sellers located in Orange County: Blue Oval Truck Parts (Anaheim) / The Truck and Car Shop (Orange). Both have these repro emblems.

If you live in the area, you can swing on by, check 'em out...save on shipping charges, if you buy them.

D0TZ-16720-D .. 1970/72 F100/350 Camper Special Emblem / Right/Left is the same / Obsolete

AFAIK, no one reproduces this rectangular emblem. No FoMoCo Dealer or obsolete part vendor has any NOS.

Note: 1967/69 Camper Special is not the same. Uses a CamperSpecial 'staggered' script nameplate (C7TZ-16720-H).

The lazy S is larger than the other letters, divides Camper above from pecial below.

Mounts on the lower rear section of the front fenders. AFAIK, not reproduced. No FoMoCo Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any NOS.

1968/72 F100/350: Which of the TWO different types of Ford "Hang-On" A/C does it have, factory installed integral A/C or dealer installed A/C?

1) Factory installed integral A/C is combined with the heater. The A/C controls are in the same panel as the heater controls.

Since the expansion valve mounts where the glove box liner would be, a shorter liner was used instead and there is an addtional glove box built into the A/C bezel....bolts to the bottom of the dash.

2) Dealer installed A/C was not combined with the heater. The two A/C switches mount into the bezel, bolts to the bottom of the dash, not the same bezel used with factory A/C.

Factory A/C: The flexible ductwork is long obsolete, the last time I looked for any of it, no one had any. It's possible the obsolete blower switch may be available NOS.

The switches with dealer A/C are also obsolete, I've never looked for any, so it may be possible to find them NOS.

AFAIK, none of these A/C parts have been reproduced.
