Thumbs up New exhaust help f150 cat problems

OK, I think my cat is plugged so I'm going to put a new exhaust system on. It's a 95' f150 4x4 ext. cab (Pictured). Does anyone know of a complete header & exhaust kit that also deals with the o2 sensor. the engine is a 5.0L and running like crap. I don't want to put on a new cat. I just want it gone. i live in KS so I have no smog laws here. I assume many have done this before I hope.

couple options.... cut the cat out and replace with piece of pipe. will make your exhaust a little louder and there is no o2 sensor after the cat so it wont affect anything.

or you can cut off before the cat and run new pipe to new muffler and tailpipe i used flowmaster super 44 and dumped under bed...

buy a cat back system and replace the cat with a piece of pipe...

or re do the whole system

You can install a set of equal length shorty headers (O2 sensor threads into these). Headers will bolt up to the stock Y pipe, then have a shop fab up the rest with the muffler of your choice.

Most aftermarket headers and Y pipes include bungs for the O2. You won't find a complete kit but you will find all the parts needed at the usual sources, Summit has Y-pipe/cat combos, headers, and cat backs, it's worth the $$ to step up to ceramic coated or stainless headers too, the painted versions simply won't last more than a couple years.
