2006 Navigator 3v 5.4L 50k miles

Cruising at 45mph vehicle went into limp mode check engine light came on.

Ran scan and 0307 Code Misfire #7

Pulled COP swapped with #1, replaced #7 plug Misfire still on #7

Completely dead cylinder not just a random misfire.

Cylinder has great compression.

Injector driver possible? Heard of injectors sticking open but not just giving up.
Ideas?

Prior to this vehicle ran great but MPG was off by about 3mpg compared to another identical unit.
