I'm having some issues with the other car...

The "other car" being a 98 Dodge Neon with the 3 speed auto. Just yesterday, i was driving around when it suddendly started to cut out, no bucking at all, it just seemed like an electrical connection was lost, it happened several times until the engine stalled. I was able to start it and kept driving. It stalled a couple of times later in the day. I managed to get home and left it be until today, i when i went to a battery shop to have the electric system checked, both the battery and alternator checked alright. So my current suspects are a loosen sensor, wire or a short, also seems like the E-fan isn't working, but that shouldn't be the reason to lose all the elec. power. Is this a known issue to these cars? does any of you have any other ideas of what could it be?.

Also, the temperature gauge seemed to be very high later, when i was driving home, just saying...

You should be able to test the fan by hooking it right to power. If it comes on the check the relay that controls it. That should eliminate any questions with the fan. I have seen on older vehicles where a bad relay can drain power from other things but never cut everything out completely.

Have you checked all the grounds? Maybe its like ourt trucks battery terminal issue. Worth checking I guess.

Thx Edge, that's pretty much what i intended to try... working in that tiny car's bay is a pain... and i'm still recovering from my surgery, but i guess i'll manage, as long as i don't overdo it.

Any codes? Possible things I know I see and fix at work would be crank or cam sensor

Yes, internet research yielded that info ima, i might look further into that, but the best course of action probably is getting the car checked for codes. Thx for your input!.
