do i need to take the bumper off and fenders?

 

Bumper, no, not bolted to core support, but is easier. Only 4 bolts...... Fenders, yes. They are bolted to core support

 

first you need to take the headlight bezel and assembly off. there is a couple bolts that hold the fenders to the core support that you cant see without taking the headlights and everything in front off. mos tpeople dont see them and get frustrated because they cant figure out how it comes off. unbolt fenders from inner fender wells. remove hood then fenders

 

Its been a while , but I'm pretty sure you don't have to remove the fenders completely to remove the support ...

 

you can pry the fenders a lil to the side to get it out without damaging anything, i just did it last summer.
