S&B Cold Air anyone ?

Hello Everyone .
My air filter getting dirty ,so I was thinking to get something thats i can just clean/wash and recharge like K&N or Others. So I was looking around and found this S&B Cold Air Intake System 2011 6.7L Ford PowerStroke 75-5053

Is there anyone who has it ? Is it any good or I should stick with stock box and maybe get a K&N or something .

I would go with the S&B over many others any day of the week. S&B's filter media flows air just as good as any, but it has one of the highest filtration rating. The quality of their entire system is to notch especially considering the price.

My S&B came in yesterday and I have not had a chance to install it. I hope this afternoon if the weather allows. I just read a test where a stock truck was dyno'd and then they dyno'd the truck with the S&B. It gave 5 more HP. Their quality is excellent. I will report back soon.

I do not have one on my current truck. I speak from experience on 6.0 and 2 generations of 7.3 trucks. When S&B was first introduced their product left a lot to be desired. I vocalized this concern to an S&B representative on a forum like this and he was very quick to contact me on the issues that I had. He stated that they had redesigned their intake and offered to send me an updated version if I would post back with an honest real world evaluation of their new product. Bottom line is S&B makes a great product and they stand behind it. Just google up filtration test results for S&B filters and you will find all that you need to know about how well they perform.

Just got her installed....in the rain!!! Drive it around the block but that's it. It's dinner time! A great looking product and easy install. They say 30 minutes but mine was longer. I dropped a damn rubber gasket and spent 20 minutes soaking wet looking for it lol. Finish is great but I have one bolt gole that is slightly off that holds the clear cover on. Its not much but I am a stickler. I'm driving to MI late morning and will report on my thoughts with some seat time.

I also had an AFe Stage 2 on my Cummins 5.9 and did not notice much of a difference in performance. Maybe a mile per gallon increase. The finish is much nicer on the S&B.

Stay tuned for a full review soon.

Million mile warranty. So far there is a drastic improvement to throttle response. Trying to watch mileage but it is so damn windy in central Il it is hard to give a number. It has improved and will know more when I get to MI.

If it set off a CEL you would have heard from me, believe me lol. Got to MI a few ago and it was windy as all can be the entire way up. Mileage has improved but I don't know how much. The diesel I got up here is also not a bio diesel blend which helps. Throttle response has improved greatly. A nice little roar from the intake as well.
