Is this too much?

One of those banner adds caught my eye.2003 Ford F-250 XLT Quad Cab FX4 Long Bed 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel 4X4 | Sanford, FL | Gibson Truck World King of Trucks Monster Trucks Ford Chevy GMC Dodge RAM Diesel Near Orlando Florida I know everyone says that low mileage 7.3's are hard to come by but isn't 23k too much? By no means am i looking to buy this, im just throwing the question out there.

I think so. I realize it's the mythical 7.3 everyone thinks they want, but what's the engine in? An XLT extra cab? If that was a V10 or 6.0 the price would be half that in my opinion. If you bought the same year truck with a V10, you'd get about the same power (please don't anyone jump on this comment and start splitting hairs) and have enough left over to buy a hell of a lot of gas! I've seen much better deals on 7.3 trucks locally and they sit for a while even then.

Definitely too much. I know my truck is only a 5.4, but I paid a full 10 grand less for mine and it's an 05 and has less miles. I know the 7.3s hold their value, but that's a little excessive IMO.

Just did a quick look at some local craigslist ads, I'll take this truck for the same price. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ws...611304837.html

I was thinking it was way too much. The price and year is what caught my eye in the first place. That dealer only sells trucks. Lots of them a lifted but all sell for outrageous money. I spent 14,500 for my 05 with 42k on the clock from a local mopar dealer. And yes there is no shortage of crack in the Orlando area. Sanford is more of a redneck town, but i would hate to see what it would sell for in Winter Park or Dr. Phillips where there is lots of money

Holy Crap that's a lot! It does come with a year of warranty and a year of free maintenance....but I bought my 08' F-250 XLT, Supercab, 4x4 at the begining of August of this year with 20K+ less miles for that price. And I got 3 years/36K miles of warranty. Those guys are on crack!
