I assume you me whether it is a 240 or 300? You have to measure the stroke. With the s.plug out turn engine until piston is at the lowest point in cycle, then put a pencil or something inside the hole until you touch the piston, and mark the object. Then rotate the engine until piston is at tdc, and mark again. remove and measure distance between the marks. A 300 has nearly a 4'' stroke. IIRC the 240 is about 3.18".
