I'm in an FE engine forum and I noticed yesterday they had the results from the last engine builders challenge in there. You know how everyone thinks the LS1 motor from chebby is the chit, big cubes, high hp, etc. Anyway, there were two divisions at the challenge. Extreme and street or something like that. FORD won both and was third in the street too. Too bad chebby...

 

Good to hear Darin. Not really a surprise though, eh?

 

It's hard to argue the success of the LS motors...a few bolt ons and a naturally aspirated small block is making well over 400hp. Ford should have never gotten away from the 5.0L

 

You can't beat LS motors

 

Then why didn't they win. Can't be beat huh?

 

I like the LS motor but I'd take a 91 stang with a 5.0 over it any day

 

I had a 93 LX coupe that was unreal. Wish I still had that car
