Lowering rear end on my 53
#16
The day I drove mine home from the initial purchase I did not realize that the bumper height was so critical. I turned into the driveway and impacted to an abrupt stop. Ten minutes later, the torsion bars were adjusted about
2" higher and she would drive in without scraping. Thank goodness of that adjustable Dodge Aspen front IFS. Jag

Thanks for all the comments. I am going to look for a pair of springs that I can take to my spring shop and have them remove some leafs check to make sure they are not sagging and put the lining in between them. That way I will be ready in the summer time to put them on with my nine inch rear end. So far it has been like finding a needle in the hay stack finding any springs close to me.
