95 F250 straight axle swap ?

I am looking to swap a straight axle into my 95. I found a complete set up from an 89 F350 but it is set up for bud wheels. Will everything from the dana 50 fit ? I have heard yes and no in the past and would really like to find out before buying it. Thanks for any help you can give

Yes it is already 4x4 and I am looking at going from the 50 to the 60. I know I need the front springs off the F350. My main concern is changing the 60 over from the bud wheels plus the fact that all my brake parts only have about 2000 miles on them. Thanks

I just did a straight axle swap on my 89 f250, but i swapped to a dana 44 from a 79 f250 (For wheeling purposes). its really straight forward doing it that way, you just have to move the pads that the leaf springs sit on. What is the purpose of doing the swap on your truck?

I just finished swapping a dana 60 into my 91 f250. I will tell you this-- get all the parts including tansmission crossmember, transfer case yoke, front driveshaft, front springs, and anyt other hardware from the 350.
I never did get my front driveshaft set up properly. I had to drop the crossmember to clear the shaft, and never did get rid of front shaft vibration.
Would I do it again--- NO!
