factory tach

i know this subject has been visited before but can find any of them. i have a 96 F150 and i pulled a guage cluster from a 92 bronco both with v8 is there anything i need to do other than unplug and plug the new one in?

yes, get the correct year cluster, 96 are their own birds

mine was built in 9th month of 95 i wonder if that will make a difference

Best I remember its 92-93 interchange, then 94-95, and last 96-97 f-250/350.. It has to do with the charging system and some pin outs on the plugins.. I'm not sure what else.. User Subford can give you the details if anyone can...

Since your truck is a 96, you need a cluster from another OBDII truck.
