Ah! A gas tank sending unit! OK, now I understand, I was thinking of MLP sensors or sumthin'.

Do you really think a 25+ yo sending unit is a good idea? Add to that the hassle & work required to get the things out most likely only to find it's in as bad or worse shape than what you've already got.

I'll try and find the part number and OEM replacements later in the day....

Thanks man, but a fellow member here has picked me up a set for the junkyard, so I should be in business here shortly.

Restorable or decent Dash Pad?

I know they are rare here...the sun takes a beating. Looking for a pad for an 84 F150...double bonus points if it's red. The red door panels are shot also. Hopefully some one might have extra stock.

New request in case somebody happens to know where some are.

I'm looking for a set of 1980-1982 351M/400 engine perches. I know where a set is, but I have to have the engine pulled just to get them. If anybody knows of a 1980-1982 truck in the junkyard that was originally equipped with a 351M/400 but no longer has the motor, I would love to have the perches from it.

Bring a trailer down to Ocala with $150, a case of cokes, a few cans of PB Blaster, a battery operated sawzall, and I'll take you out to our yards and we'll find you a cab. We have plenty of 80-86 trucks out here that are relatively rust free and would make great cab donors.

Factory tach

I could use a factory tach. The one I bought doesn't work, needle is broke and wont stay on, so need another one. I don't need the circuit board just the tach itself.
