Anyone here put headers on their van?
I'm really interested in maybe attempting this, but I'm a little concerned about the cost, the tight fit and the durability of headers. If I did it, I would hope for stainless steel as they are more resistant to rust-through. I'm having a hard time finding anything to fit my E-150. Any advice out there?

I have a 1990 351w FI. I know that one is available through Summit, but I'm probably going to just start with a nicer cat-back system for now since it's a lot easier to deal with and quite a bit cheaper as far as an exhaust mod is concerned.
I do like to dream though about someday having headers and nice dual exhaust system. LOL

Hooker has a listing for 2 set of headers for the 5.8L in a Ford van for that year. One is plain and the other coated. The coated costs about $230 more then the plain.
I have looked into doing the same thing on my "88/5.8L V8. The drivers side looks easy, the passenger side not so. I think you can do it if you pull off some of the acc. on the pass. side of the engine so you can access the front part of the cyl. head.
My plan is to do this as part of a cyl. head & cam swap I have planned. I plan on pulling the AC con. & radiator along with all the acc. and grill so I can access the front of the engine better. I have just about all the major parts now. I just need to wait for warm weather and spring of 2012. I have to work on it outside as the van won't fit in my garage, to tall.
