Down to $3.779 today...hope it keeps going down!

 

Saw it at 4.099 today, which is 5 cents higher than the last time I spotted it, however, this was a different gas station, so who knows? Could be they are just 5 cents higher than the local Valero.

 

Now at $3.739...hope the trend continues...

Down another PENNY to $3.729 today...YAY, I'm excited!!!

 

Doesn't take much does it? Almost four years ago...when diesel was up over $4 I made my wife this promise...if/when diesel drops below $2, I'll shave my beard off. It happened once, maybe it'll happen again.

 

What burns my butt is that gas is at $3.319 a gallon...it make me just want to pound some politicians for the crap they contrive...remember that when election time rolls around!

 

Was in KC yesterday, seen #2 for $3.49 a couple of places. Paid $3.56 in Joplin last week....come on baby, lets keep dropping like that

 

$3.76 today at an Exxon. Crazy. Had to get 40 gallons.

 

Diesel here in Utah is exactly $1.00 more than 85 octane regular gas. This was at a local Maverick station. (discount fuel stop)

Long, Long way from the 13 cents it sold for in 1970-71. When fuel hit a buck a gallon around 1978-9 I and many others thought hard about selling and getting out of the trucking business. Many of us that stayed went broke over the next few years.

 

$3.67 - $3.69 is the current local average around me.

Still holding at $3.729 here...it's been at that price since the 9th of December. Gas is at $3.299.

 

$3.59 in Southwest Louisiana.

 

Dropped 4 cents to $3.689 today...YAY! Gas is at $3.289...so 40 cents less than diesel.
