Illinois October and Halloween BS thread

Good evening guys. Beautiful day here today, 75°, and not a cloud in the sky, can't ask for anything better. Leaving for Georgia Friday AM. Helping the B&SIN put their house back together so it can be put on the market. The dining room is the only room untouched. All of the other inside walls have been removed, mercy what a mess. I will post some while I am there, if their puter works or can find it. They live so far into the woods the air and sunshine are piped to them. Where the hoot owls do the chickens.

Good evening Jim and Pat!
Four years ago, wife and I were there in Georgia visiting B&SIL when they said they would like to reconfigure the rooms in the house. I opened my big mouth and said the roof is trussed and is only supported by the front and back walls. So while Chris was at work Pam started removing walls and doing this that and the other to the house. She made her own Kitchen cabinets, being a wood worker myself, I was very impressed. Between the two of them the dining room and large sun porch were finished. Then they started rebuilding the walls and repairing the ceilings, a plumber has been called in to move the bathrooms. This where I come in, none of the drywall is done or floors or electrical. A mud pan shower and tile, kitchen cabinet doors need to be made, their table saw is junk. Hopefully I'll be coming home every few weeks so on one of those trips the cabinet doors will get made. Back up a month. Chris took another job in Chattanooga and they're moving. Being the house is in the boonies Pam didn't want anyone working on the place knowing she is there alone. I am a handyman, being in the family I am handy. My wife said I would be more than happy to do it. Just peachy. Leaving 0 early :30 Friday for the 850 mile trip. Be there Friday night sometime. Big BOY was loaded today. Have a great thirsty Thursday
