My recent bodyshop experience

I recently wrecked my jeep wrangler. I know not a ford but I want to tell the experience any way.

I wrecked my 06 jeep wrangler unlimited. $7700 in damage. I took it to Grahams auto body in Winnsboro Louisiana.

Top notch customer service. They repaired the damage. Completely painted my jeep. I'm talking about removed all door handels and small parts that most shops would have masked off. Their attention to detail was well above industry standards. It took a little longer than it should have. But for the service and quality it was well wort the wait.

I highly recommend Grahams auto body for any of your collision work.

The have earned my business for life.

Quality shops stand out. They take longer but its done right. I don't want cheap repairs on my rides.

It has 6" superlift long arm lift. Currie antirock sway bars. Warn bumpers. 9000# warn winch. 4.88 gears with lockers. Best top soft top. And lots more.

I still love my fords though. I just found out the hard way that a superduty isn't made to play offroad.

Oh man

Thats a JEEP right there. I had a CJ7 1997 model a few yrs ago. I loved it.

The thing broke out in rust between the lap panels I had to get rid of it before it desolved. Dont know why that one did that.

I was thinking that they did not take care of it or something. I hated let her go.

Looked like yours to a degree. No winch. 4" lift and it was dark metalic gray with a white top.

Yours makes me want another. I wonder if the 1997 were made over seas and shipped here. Dunno-- I was trying to figure the reason for the rust. You ever see anything like that? Like I said it was between the lap panels.

First sign was the reinforment beam that crosses under the hood at its attachment points. Rusted up through hood. I knoticed a little bubble and popped it. It was clean through. Thats when I found it. So I pulled the hood and cut it out and has a some metal braised in there and refinished it.

Then the 1/4 panels at the lap joints on either side near the lower swing door hinge started bubbles from underneath the paint. So I just doctored that and painted it. I could tell it was starting from between the lap panel and he under metal.

I see yours does not have that triangle lap over panels at the bottom door hinge area. What model is it?

And did it role? or slide sideways and clip something?

My jeep is an 05 unlimited.

I was working around Shreveport. I hit a deer and ran off the road. I couldn't back up the hill so I locked her in 4x4. Went down the hill to turn around. There was som briars that I had to go through. What I didn't know was that the briars were hiding a wash out. I slid into the wash out and flopped it on its side.

I think I would have had to change my shorts on that one. Was it daylight?

Did you get deer meat out of it?
