LOL....
I'm a incurable sports fan and participant in my younger days. Now I creek more than my Bronco before I lube it. Not a big fan of Cheebie trucks. I had a roofing/construction company and had all of them at one time or another. The Fords worked the best all the time.
I do have a Chebbie car though, it's hard not to like a Vette.

Hmmm, sounds familiar.
Here's a shot of my garage......
Everything is mine except the Camaro. Which, by the way, is back again for more work.
1990 Corvette, '77 big block 4 spd Nova, and a '64 Chevelle SS.
BUT MY TRUCKS ARE FORDS! Even a die hard Chevy hotrodder has to admit, ...Ford trucks are better.

I like the C4 body style. Mines a C5- 01 coupe. I used to sell them in the seventies and was never impressed with their performance or handling. The newer ones are incredible performers. The 64 Chevelle and Nova are my favorite body styles in the GM hot rods. I did have a 65 Impala S.S I liked. I'm trying now to get my cousin to sell me his 68 Mustang convertible. It's been a driver since the day he bought it, needs work but starts and runs fine. It has a 289 in it now, if he sells it to me that may change.
The only Chebbie truck I liked was a 69 with a 396. I eventually drove it into a train bridge post. Lifted the cab right off the frame.

Rodeo (rough stock events) was my sport of choice in my real younger days, only one person to blame if you loose.
Unless you are team roping, which I did in my kinda younger days, was good enough to keep all my fingers.
Nice roll bar Alan, still not in the Ford truck, that did not make the picture line up I see.

I think if I had grown up in the environment I would have tried rodeo. I never rode a horse though. I was city breed, most of us played various sports. A lot of us went in for one on one activities. Mostly boxing and martial arts. I don't participate anymore but some of my buddies in their fifties and sixties still do three round exhibitions. I've become an expert audience participant.

Most of them are pretty gentle guys in everyday life, usually they're working with kids, teaching them the sport and how to have a good attitude and avoid conflict, it's better than sitting home watching TV all day.
I agree, it should always be the last resort. But, as Teddy Roosevelt said....."Walk softly, but, carry a big stick"
Gentlemen, have a good evening, until we speak again may all be well, and come visit us in the Pa. Chapter.

Good Morning Everybody!
I feel like 40 miles of rough road this morning. Rich, no I haven't gotten the roll bar in the truck yet. Eventually, I'll get off my butt and make the changes I want to make to it and get it mounted. Today I have to wrap the headers in that '69 Camaro and put in a high torque mini starter and re-route the wires so it starts when it's hot. (it doesn't right now.)
Then I get to put steps on the deck I built yesterday. It's nice to walk out on now, but that first step off the end is a doozy!

Morning to all, bronco work is scheduled today.
I did the header wrap on the 71 Bronco to help reduce the heat bleed off, it seemed to work. But I had to go a different route instead of using those supposed metal zip ties.
Wire twister pliers and .42 aircraft grade tie wire. You are soaking the wrap in water before applying right? Not to sure what kind of wrap you are using, so just throwing some free advice out there.
I know this is not your first rodeo.....

I haven't soaked the wrap in water before, but I'll give it try. I can usually get it tight enough without doing that. ...or are you referring to the asbestos fibers flying around? I have mechanics wire to hold it to the header. I should be ok. Thanks for the tips. I just have to find a high torque mini starter today. We'll see what O'reily's or Auto Zone can get me today.
