Evening everyone!
Well, I'm already off to a productive weekend - replaced the door downstairs that was always a pain to open & close. Turns out that the slab isn't level and messes everything up. I've got it shimmed up and secured in place and it now opens just fine. After I get it sealed up it looks as though I will start working on putting the ceiling up in the bathroom. Yay....
I might be having to look for a used tire or two for my non-Ford vehicle. The PO let the ball joints get bad and they wore funny. The dealer I got it from replaced the ball joints (got the receipts) but left the tires on it. Now I have a spot on one tire that the cords are starting to peek through in one small section. Just my luck...

Good Morning Everybody!
We went out last night to celebrate Tiff's birthday. It's not until tomorrow, but Tiff wanted to go drinking and tonight she has to work at the haunted house.
I have to finish tuning the Camaro and put a crank sensor in that Grand Am I've been fooling with. I hope this is the problem.
Well, time to pour my coffee. Be right back.

seems like my Power steering issue is with the hoses. My hose on my truck has a huge end that is too big to fit on the back of my power steering pump......but when I went to oriellys last night to see what psp I am suppost to have it is supposed to be the one I have.....so I ordered a new hose and im taking my hoses up to make sure I get the right one. Hope I get it done today too!

Power steering issue fixed! New hose from Oriellys. Hope it works when I get it started!
On the bad side this morning, went to put fuel in the tank to see about starting it soon and found that someone had punched a hole in it to get the fuel out of it! Wasnt done while ive had it...but what a downer! I was up at a junk yard where I could have got one yesturday and I find out today.
Rich, I got priced 115 my price for that radiator...but the pic doesnt look right.....the next bigger one my price is 155. They have them both in the warehouse here in town. Got a guy coming over right now to look at my ss parts car hope to make that much today! Then I might price a new tank vs used.

I think I got the Camaro really close. I bumped the main jets up a couple sizes, put a lighter power valve in it and richened the idle jets a touch. Then I bumped the timing a degree. Throttle response on the unloaded engine is fantastic. I have to take it for spin to be sure though. (and I put 5 gallons of gas in it so I make it home this time!
As far as the crank sensor goes, I have yet to find it. I think this is going to be an involved process. I have a sinking feeling it's inside the timing cover.

Woo Hoo! Both jobs done! The crank sensor turned into a project. It was in the block, but it came out in pieces. I had to remove the intake manifold so I could drill the rest of the old sensor out. (that was fun) I found about 5 vacuum lines that were bad also. I drove it for about 30 minutes with not even so much as a hiccup.
Whew!
....now all I need to do is get my truck to steer.
