well started it up today again, starts right up! took for a drive, leaves a blue smoke trail, can leave a pretty good one that lingers.. when i came back to the house from around the block there was still smoke in the air! shes still a shaker too..

got my cap and line with orings kit in the mail yesterday, so will install that in the next week or so..

still thinking it might be injector or ip.

That relay looking thing you found in the door pocket looks like the warning chime that goes under the dash (lights on, keys in ignition, ect.) that drives you crazy when you open the door.

It looks to me you have at least two cylinders not firing properly and 4 dead glow plugs. If you replace all the plugs with new ones, you will have a much better idea of which cylinders are not firing properly.

all the glow plugs are good. i replaced them all, them are the OHM readings of the clow plugs with it warmed all the way up after a short drive, so im thinking the numbers that are off are the ones with bad injectors. but what the heck do i know. just a back yard hack around here.

I have never seen my engine shake like that! Whether its cold or not!

Have you checked over all the motor mounts, that just doesn't seem right.

Even when I had my old ip and injectors with a couple that knocked. I could hear and feel when it missed and all of that but the vibration was through the truck and not directly from the engine jumping around like that?

ya i have not, i should have my wife sit in it and hold her foot ont he brake and put it in drive then rev, and see if it lifts on the passanger side.. i was thinking it looked like a busted motor mount also.

checked the oil today, its on the O in the not for DO NOT OVERFILL, so i guess its overfilled. tasted like oil. smelt like oil too. so i dont think the lift pump leaking, i think it was just overfilled, its black as heck just like it is in my tail pipe picture.

The oil sounds right being black. Mine gets dark after a few miles.

That would explain all that smoke too, clean that cdr, that shake might be coming from fouled cylinders due to being overfull, drain it down, run it so it has a chance towarm up to temp and clean out then start checking things over again.
