Differential swap?

I have a F150 with axle code 19, which means, I believe, that i have a 3.55 non-limited slip differential. Is there any way I could put in a posi or limited slip dif or would I have to do a whole axle swap?

They make Limited slips and lockers for almost all axle types, so yes you can add one to yours. But it would probably be cheaper in the long run if you could find a good used one already setup that way. A limited slip will cost you around $300 and up depending on which one you chose. Then you'll need an install kit and someone to install it if you don't know how which will probably be another $250 or up.
