how to erase custom tunes from a SCT X3

ok i had mike send me three new tunes for my truck, i want to erase the old tunes off my X3 before i install the new tranny tunes? i tried going through but i cant find a option for it, i dont want to bother mike but i will if i have too

Hook up the tuner and go through the same steps you took to add the custom tunes and just select return to stock.

You have to hook it up to your PC and use SCTs liveload software to delete the tunes and install the new custom tunes on the X3.

thanks DKF i hooked it up but i didnt see any delete buttons on the screen? ill hook it up and look again

You only can put 3 custom tunes into the X3. When you upload the new tune into one of the 3 slots it deletes the tune that was in the slot prior. Sorry I wasn't clearer.

On edit. Its been a little since I uploaded tunes to an X3. I use an X2 my dad uses an X3. You should have an option to erase all 3 tunes at once, just don't erase the stock tune stored in the unit. I always just installed a new tune which got rid of the old one.

i installed the stock tune over a week ago. So it wont matter if i erase them all, ill check it out in a little bit thanks again

i hoked my X3 to the computer again and there is no erase buttons or options? I just saved over my old 87Performance tune with my new one mike sent me
