2010 V10 Performance Tuner or Chip Reccomendations
I would prefer to go with a Tuner. Is there any thing a chip offers over a tuner?
Im gonna put a leveling kit on the truck, and put 35x12.5 on 20" rims. This is a daily driver. I wont be pulling any loads with it. Just looking to get a little extra power and fuel economy that I will loose with new tires.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks

Call Mike at 5-star he sponsors the V10 section on this board!!
Also i would suggest to change out the stock y pipe and upgrade u can also get that from Mike at 5 star and as far as I know that should be the most u can do
I heard CAI's don't do too much for u but if u do I hear that volants are good

Check out the V10 forum here, you'll hear lots about Mike at 5-star. Money-back guarantee, and custom tunes which if there's anything you don't like Mike will change for you and email the updated tune to you.
The 3-valve V10 doesn't need the y-pipe modification the earlier 2-valvers do...

Ford switched to 3 valve per cylinder heads in both engines. The 05+ had much more power then previous 5.4's and 6.8's with 2 valves. Also in 05 ford redesigned the y pipe without the previous restrictions.
