Question FLOWTECH 12540FLT OR ?????????

so i am finishing up the build on the 67 tbird 390 almost ready to go in the f100 and don't want to put the " restrictor" stock manifolds on .
i see summit has the flotech 12540flt for $140
and hedman 89300 for just a little more
anyone have real experience with these headers ? are they going to last for a year ? 2? 3?
my truck is a part time driver going to use for lowes runs and just weekend putting around the city .

thanks
in advance
mike

Hedman 89300 are for the 240/300 inline 6...

If you are talking about the Hedman 89100 or the Flowtech 12540FLT, I can say that I chose the Hedmans because I have past positive experience with that brand, and I found a couple of posts here on FTE when I did a search about install/fitment issues with the Flowtech units.

I don't have the Hedman units installed yet, but the assembly and finish look good sitting in the garage. Just my $0.02

I ended up with the flotechs ,i went way over my budget ,
fit was real close down by trans had to make a bend in exhaust to clear trans also had to cut trans linkage in half then reweld pieces together shorter .

Sorry to hear about the budget, I know the feeling!

Any chance you could post some really good pics of the clearances and the exhaust routing? Might help people in the future, and I'm curious how the fit is compared to my Hedmans.

Thanks!
