He'd have a field day with your error and will never let you forget it.
Julius and I engaged in a WWII name the battleship/aircraft carrier contest via P/M's.

The deal was...the answers had to be "off the cuff." Julius asked first, I answered with what I could immediately, but Julius didn't respond to my questions until the next day (9 hours later).

IMO, sleep had nothing to do with it. Julius cheated, had to look up the answers.

Tee hee!

hope you find what you need with that axle, sorry, I'm of no help with the F2 F3 Brake stuff, Are those drums any good after you got them off?
I have an almost new set of rear brake drums from an 51 F3 (yes they are 8 lugs on a 51 F3. Bill, you mentioned above that f3's were 6 lug??? are you sure?)
I am not sure if they are the same as the rear or if they would work on the front you have or not?? these guys would definitly know.

Cheers

Josh
Yeah they should work fine, the cylinder I bought might work after all i might just need to grind the backing plate out a little.
Thanks again.

I had a set of late '51 to '52 drums a while back that I had a heck of a time trying to sell. I had gotten them quite a few years ago from a guy on the old Bonus Built sight for my '49 F-2. I didn't know they were different until I went to use them last year, or the year before, and found they were very different than the ones on my '49.
