I have read alot about the scanguage 2 and am seriously considering getting one for my 6.0. However, I came across the ultraguage and it had some features such as an alarm setting and is 1/3 of the price of the scanguage. My question is do the guages on the ultraguage compare to the guages on the scanguage 2? I dont know if it covers as wide of range as the scanguage so thought id ask some opinions. Thanks.

 

The Ultragauge is "confirmed" not to work with Ford F350 Diesels.

I had the Ultra Gauge..... do not buy it for your Ford. SG is the way to go. You will still need to install an EGT gauge separately....also a fuel pressure gauge IF you want one.

 

i have also used the ultraguage on my truck - waste of time - i have the edge guage now. And just as a side note - i installed it on my family car after and it would drain the battery in 3 days if i didnt drive the car

 

That would be "Ultra" frustrating!
