4 inch lift with 35's?

i was wondering if 35's would be to big with a 4inch lift.
in a few months im going to have to save up and get a new suspenstion due to mine being shot, so i thought a lift kit would be good. i also need tires in the future to so why not 35's (im 17 and dont care about gas mileage)

could you guys post pics of your trucks with lifts and 35's

thanks

Mine has a factory lift with 33's. As you can see, there's room for the 35's. Your 5.8 has plenty enough power to turn them, with plenty to spare.

If you dont off road lifts are cool for about 10 minutes. Wait for a year when your paying your own gas. And your have worn your door hinges out for getting in an out, or your seats, or your brakes...

I've got a 90's F150 with the 5 Lug Pattern. I'm curious if anyone knows what size tires would likely fit on there best and still be functional without a lot of other altercations. It's factory with P235/75R15. They seem really small for it... Any suggestions?

You can fit a 31x10.50 easily and a 32" depending on width. Some of the trucks like mine came stock with 265/75r15. Which is a 31/10.50

Back to the original question. Yes 35s will fit depending on rim width and backspacing. You wont be able to make super sharp turns or have full suspension cycle without rubbing tho. May want to shim bumper out a bit to help as well. Basically if its a pavement queen then yes you'll be ok.

But as Kudofu mentioned, lifts are a pain sometimes and do cause excess wear on things.

I have a 4 inch lift on mine as well. but as you see with my front bumper being a piece of angle iron I won't have much issue. Where else will 35's rub besides the radius arms?

Potentially the inner fender well or heck I've even seen em hit the fender itself on the back side. Not sure if they were 35s or maybe 37s . Nice looking truck WhiteBeast!

5.0H! Stroker bumped up to 10.8:1 compression, ported heads, longtubes and off-road h pipe. All the other supporting mods are already in place. Should be done soon (I hope!) as the last time I had the tank out of the truck I got the fuel pump seal **** eyed and it leaks when full and I don't wanna pull it down for the 4th time in a month! That and the ball joints/steering bushings are shot so it makes for an "interesting" ride.

Lol I have a 2010 that already has shot ball joints. Makes me think twice about getting a new Boss.
