I may be having to get my injectors rebuilt soon. Is it possible to have stage IIs built and run them on stage I tuning effectively over potentially a long time? I don't know if I'll ever have the things needed to support stage IIs but for the same price I wouldn't be opposed to having them and running them as ones if it won't hurt anything. Then if I ever am able, light those bad boys up to their full potential.

Personally, I'd expect optimal perforance when the program parameters match the injector size. Now, it may be pretty easy (& cheap) to get things "rebalanced" by just using a shorter duty cycle (in the fuel map) with the larger injectors but that will limit output at higher RPMs. Best to ask & then spend.

ive been running stage 2 injectors from beans for about 800 miles on an all stock set up ive been getting arout 17-18 mpg and it will dump some black smoke if I get into it even the slightest bit. plan on getting everything stage 2 sometime soon.

 

I fixed that for you. =)


Travis ran stage 2's on stage 1 tuning for a bit without any issues. It just ran weird.
