I would say this: **** you....you aint got no right to be complaining to a United States Army Infantryman who just got back from Iraq so you can have the right to complain...then I would tell her its a free country, I dont owe you rhyme or reason as to what I drive, what I do or anything....plain and simple.

I'm thinking we should try to tone it down some and be good stewards of old diesel trucks because we are all in this together. What one of us does in a small way effects the "group" Granted she was WAY out of line, and giving the world a bad impression of prius drivers. We can't go around blowing smoke at every prius we see, and pretty much acting the way she is. The way I see it people like that aren't worth the effort to prove them wrong because they are opiononated to the point that they don't even hear what you are saying. I will just keep driving my paymentless truck while they blow 5k replacing batteries.

Well, its obvious that she thinks that her opinion is right and everyone needs to hear it. Props to the guy for handling it so well. Im prety laid back myself...but I know it would be quite hard to refrain from sinking to her level and yelling back. lol...For one thing, she should be swearing in front of children like that. I would have threatened with calling the cops...Because its actually against the law to swear in front of children(least here in MI)maybe hit her with Disturbing the Peace for sure. Second, its none of her business to know what someone does or why they drive what they drive. Everyone has a right to drive what they do, and what they do with it is up to their choice. I drive a 84 F250 diesel every day. I dont work on a farm, i hav an office job. i have a 4wheeler i haul with it. but thats 99% of all itll ever have. Overkill? you bet Do I care? Nope, Its MY truck, I paid for it, Ipay for the Fuel, And I Pay the Insurance. You go ahead and drive ur Prius, the technology is great, It would be great if eith my F250(20mpg city) or my Bronco(10.5mpg city) got the kind of milage a Prius gets lol. But Id Like to see a Prius tow a car trailer witha 1988 Fullsize Bronco and a Kawisaki KFX450 on it ;P...biggest advantage of my "old, ignorant, wasteful," 20 something yr old trucks....They both Take off and Stop when I want...not when the car decides..oh i mean when the "floormat" decides lmao.

The woman was out of line... But the guy handled very very well we should all be as calm and collective as his manner in a situation like that... No point in stooping to her level, no way she was gonna listen to anything you had to say so why waste your breath trying to convince her otherwise. Me personally would have thought THOUGHT some choice words to myself and kept them in my head and drove off (with a little smoke out the pipes) for the heck of it

 

At least you'd be safe up in your rig, no way shes gonna get up in there LOL
