Cancell the one from NAPA and get one from Ford or IH the part store one are junk

 

already got it OK for spare

 

Tryed CPS no start !!!

 

Also ordered high pressure oil kit from dieselstorm Got to get this problem pinpointed it's not mine. Mines a 2003 F-350 Duelly 7.3

 

With out getting in on a good scan tool to see HPO pressure and IPR duty cycle your just going to end up throwing parts at it

 

I do have a ACTON AutoScanner Plus I dont know if it will do the job or not.

 

You will need a snap on, scangauge , or AE

 

Where are you maybe someone here lives by you and might have a scanner

This truck has 340,000 miles Injector have never been changed.

 

How long was the truck sitting before you found out you had this problem? You're bound to need at least orings on the injectors at 340k. Have you checked the ipr wire plug and tin nut? IPR may be stuck too. Have you checked the idm for water? Take it off and shake it if you haven't.

 

Truck was used daily.

 

No water in idm replaced w/ known good one. Had ipr wire off when I took out fuel filter to clean . O-rings came today going to do em in morning I will pull ipr also and ck o-rings. TY

 

Getting closer to problem now! Installed injector o-rings got it to fire up. STILL a problem with NO1 cyl. Before I installed o-rings no 1 cyl wouldnt fire so when I replaced o-rings I switched injectors. Now I have oil coming out of 3 sputs where I didn't before still No oil out of no1 sput when running. I ohm'ed out wires from IDM all checked out in spec. NOW my ? is why no oil to no1 cyl? Could it be IDM itself ? My high pressure oil kit didn't come yet.

 

I would say bad injector or bad wiring harness to injector
