Edit: N/M. Just saw that there is no casting numbers. Reportedly smooth where they should be.

Why aren't there any casting numbers there? I looked real close and even with a magnifying glass and couldn't find any marks that they where ground out.I even had a couple of my friends take a look and they couldn't see anything neither. And if you look at the casting where the numbers should be it looks just like that, not altered. I'm stumped.Any ideas. Thanks Craig

They could just be service heads. And for whatever reason they did not have casting numbers. Seeing how a part number was assigned to the box not a big deal. They look like the sharp D chamber of the C4AE-6090-G casting. 5H21 date code could be 65-Aug-21 or 75-Aug-21 if they were later 70's service heads. The C4-C8 and D2 head castings were still offered as popular replacment heads late into the 70's. Yours were cast at the Cleveland Foundry which is the CF logo in your pic. Which is also where the last of the FE heads were cast in the 70's.
