well then a stang should be just more or less PNP for me as I got the 4R70W on my girl (i do plan to get better cams and that stuff as time goes on but for my truck, I am planning on keeping revs 5k or less, and maybe either a turbo or super charger! as for your diesel, she sounds sweet and Im jealous LOL!!!

Mustang computers can be made to work as long as you have a 4R70W/AOD-E or a 5spd.

If you have an E4OD, you need a California F-150 5.0 MAF E4OD computer. With the catch code HOG1, HOG0 or VEX1
....The mustangs never had a computer controled auto trans , only the AOD , so if you use a 4R70W or E40D you will need a stand alone system to run the trans , if you use the stang computer , i don't think the AOD E was ever offered in the trucks....

That is true with the 93 and earlier Mustang GT computers, but 94/95 Computers are commonly available now, and as long as you pull one out of a V8 Automatic stang you should be good.

Yeah it does kind of have a powerstroke-ish sound at around 2500-3000 RPM.

@lew52, I did not know you were referring specifically to the Fox stangs.

on my truck the worst it sees rev wise is generally 5.5k if i floorboard it but I don't tow many trailers with it but if I do i want to give it that push I am guesing the program in your vid is real time too? it looks like it is! also does it have the ability to work with a TC/SC equipped trucks/engines IE will it show extra data or is that just what ever the ECU was programed to give? I assume its showing only what the ECU knows.

The program is real time. It can show data on any sensor the computer can see, or any calculation the computer is making.

You can get an optional thing for it that would let you monitor A/F ratio from a wideband O2 sensor, or boost, etc..

That will probably happen when my friend eventually yanks the engine and drops forged internals in. Might as well throw a cam in there while it's all apart.

For the sake of all of us non-turbo'd 460 owners out here, please pretty please FOR THE LOVE OF PETE stop updating this thread, I have turbo envy so bad now that I will never drive my truck again and not think about how it would sound and feel with a turbo on it!!!
