He didn't put a price on it. Just said he had it and some other related parts. I PM'ed him to prod the topic, but there was one guy ahead of me already.

Darn, I'd be number 4 or 5 on the list.

That Banks kit is expensive, but I wouldn't have to deal with this "hunting" for a E99 spyder.... LOL

if you can weld together some exhaust tubing you can make your own intake tube just like the banks one. this would also eliminate the need to hunt for the e99 spyder. I've already decided to go that way when I do my 6.0 cooler

Ken_C: I have already ordered everything i need to build my own intercooler. I have a new machined turbo flange, 2-3" reducer, a bunch of 3inch mandrel bent fittings, a 6.0L IC, but still need to order two 3inch silicone couplings.

Just need to make some time to put it all together.

I know how that goes. I was using the truck all summer and had no downtime for either me or the truck. Finally made time a few weeks back since my Stage 1's were cooking me on uphill tows (EGT driving). It's nice and cool now.

I went down to a local shop and bought a length of silicone 3" hose from them to use for boots. $18/ft, but I could make custom lengths.

Intercooler is good, coolingmist water injection is better, intercooler & coolingmist is a fantastic combination!! Coolingmist water injection alone has knocked down my EGT's by 200* and I feel its one of the best mods I have done!!

Hey Glenn, I read about a guy that did a homemade water injection, under 200 bucks IIRC. I saved it somewhere, I'm going to look into that and a few other things if money allows this winter.

One question, do you just run tap water?
