Best thing about a Ch#%y
Damn it, I still do. My wife has a S10 Blazer. I just put a starter in that thing 2 weeks ago. When I was done, I told her if she wanted anything else done to call a mechanic.
It takes me 20 minutes to replace a starter in a Ford Truck. It took just over 4 hours to replace the one in that Ch&vy.

That my friend is the reason Chxxx owner's dislike Ford owners. Because our vehicles (trucks & cars included) are easier to work on!
Starter = 20 minutes
Alternator = 15 minutes.
And everything else, is almost a walk in the park!
1988 F-150 Custom to XLT Lariat conversion, 5.0 EFI (formerly 300 I6), 5-speed M5OD, 3.08 rear gears (will be upgraded to 3.55's), Summit headers, Flowmaster muffler W/ dual 3.5" tips 24" long.
Pioneer CD, AC, Tilt, Cruise, Mobile Radio, Lightbar (Force 4 LP6000), Federal Signal PA300 Siren W/100W Siren Speaker. Caution Customizing in progress, Watch for flying tools & Parts!

Another thing I dislike about that S10. You have to remove the air filter housing to replace the oil filter. Chxxx engineers must have been on drugs when they designed this thing.
/Sarcasm On/
OK, lets install a V6. OK, there's no room for the oil filter. That's OK, we'll just put it behind the air filter. Beside's, the people that buy our trucks don't know how to change a filter anyway.
