Replaced my '14 Silverado 1500 with a new '16 F250 4x4 Lariat. Definitely a different animal than the Chevy with some pluses and minuses. Overall I'm very happy with the truck and it pulls my travel trailer a lot better.
i like those amber grille back lights too! i bought some LED strip lighting a while back for this, just haven't gotten around to installing it (go figure, add it to my list of 900 things to do lol).

Thanks. I had to eat a lot of crow buying this truck after all jabs i've given friends over the years but this last Chevy pushed me over the edge. Hopefully this truck lives up to my expectations and my wife doesn't fill the tank with regular gas.
I like it! What lights did you use? Looks like a giant jack-o'-lantern!
I used the Plasmaglow ThunderGrille Led kit. Part number 13018, they are orange. The kit I picked contained 4 -10" strips. There is more than enough wiring and it came with a switch (didn't use it as I wired it to upfitter Aux #4).
Now I need to find a Ford badge that glows for the front.

there use to be a company that sold blue illuminated ford emblems for the tail gates.. but they quickly dropped the line due to many states have laws against the use of blue lights on non-police/emergency vehicles. have seen a few red ones for the tail gates and hitch receiver covers lately which are not illegal due the law states anything facing rearward on the back of the vehicle can be red, amber or white. sides of the vehicle anything illuminating forward of the rear wheel wells must be amber in color with rear of the rear wheel well being red.
