Oh yeah, it will definitely "grow you up", I garnered a lot from my service, obvious practical knowledge, and some things about life that can't be taught. At that point in my life (fresh out of high school, late 80's in rural Ms., ) it was what I needed. And of course, "Once a Marine, always a Marine"..... SEMPER FI!

I grew up in CO, and somehow never made it to Montana. I could definitely see myself living up there though. This east coast humidity is way too much for me. Been here 6-7 years now...seems as though my body has adapted as best it can. Still can't handle it.

Whenever we went back to North Dakota (Williston) i found myself dying. We would go back for family reunions and the 4th of July and 110F and 80% humidity killed all of us Alaskans. Now that most of the family has passed away or moved away i don't think i'll ever make it back.

Lol i believe even the ones who grew up on the north east coast can't handle it. We go from winters with temps good bit below freezing to summers in the 90s with god awful humidity. Specially for doing vertically formed concrete walls year round.

I almost got these for my Dad for his birthday since we are on the Marine topic... His love of all things USMC makes birthdays and holidays super easy!
