Looking for some Help; we took out the Automatic transmission E40D installed another bell housing bolted the starter in. The guage cluster was also taken out. We where able to take two wires from the transmission plug and connect them together to get the key to turn the engine over, we do have spark, wont start fuel issue, put another cluster in with a fuel switch cranked over wont start. Checked the fuel relays w/ test light has power turned the key can hear the pumps and the relays pressuring up the system. The engine will start with starting fluid but not run. The plug from the transmission was cut off. Are the other wires that can be connected to send a signal to the computer for fuel?When we turned the key on the check engine light does not light up does that have something to do with the ecm module?
