There are some curved brackets with small coil springs that curve out to support the fenders and attach to the bumper brackets. Can't seem to find them, but I remember removing them. I think I have the little springs still. Thanks, Gary
Don't have picture in front of me, but they install from the front bolt on the bumper bracket (on frame) to the lowest bolt on the grill to fender connection. Their intention is to dampen the side to side movement of the nose on the radiator to frame bolts.
How do I get a green bible? My printer is a piece of junk and I like stuff that I can take down to the shop. My wife can do Amazon if that helps. Thanks

Faxon has also reprinted the 1944/52 Ford Truck & Car Body Parts Catalog. It's 1/2" the size of the original and 'ol Ed wants 75 bucks for it.
Whiz over to Faxon's store in Riverside (Ed isn't there on Saturday), you'll see a one story building, but behind it is a huge warehouse with row upon row of 20' bins loaded with literature.
I realize that this thread is several years old but by chance is there still a free pdf available for 1928-48 Ford Car and Truck Master Parts Catalog? Thanks!
