Original Tool Box

Anyone have an extra toolbox/ tool tray that mounts behind the seat near the gas tank they want to sell? I have a 1951 f1 and would like to have it to store some basic hand tools.

Thanks, Dave

51PanelMan,

I think I sent you a PM the correct way but I am not sure. I would be willing to buy one from you, let me know the details and if you could post a picture that would be great, I dont even know what one is supposed to look like.

Thanks, Dave

I guess that is what is supposed to look like. Mine is missing and I would love to have one. If anyone wants to sell one I would be a buyer!

I didn't get a PM from you.

Since Wayne posted first, you should contact him. I don't want to take a sale away from him. I made my post for future reference and if anyone else needed one, or two.

Thanks 51 PanelMan, I think you have a good idea. I am sure someone else will need another though. Did these not come with a lid? I am thinking it is more like a tool tray rather than a tool box which is still ok by me.

A gutter from lowes might be cheaper!

They didn't have lids. The tool tray rested on top of the fuel tank and was bolted in to the cab.

The early rounded tool trays from a 48 are really hard to come by.
