1952 F3 for sale in Minnesota

Hey guys, I was going through craigslist here in the Twin City area where I live and found this add from a local guy. I haven't personally seen the truck in person, but my Buick buddy saw it at a swap meet this past Sunday. Truck is very clean and in my buddies opinion, worht the money. Thought some of you guys might like to see if anybody's near here. He says very rare, but I don't see much rare or special about it though. F3's have been coming out of the woodword since I bought mine

1952 Ford F3 1 Ton

I'd buy it if I didn't have 2 already and didn't think my wife would do something drastic to me

Man, that truck must be rare. It has an upside down flattie.

A bunch of stuff that is unseen elsewhere is common in Minnesooota, 'cause they also have the famous concave dome

purchased

Hi Everyone,
My husband purchased this truck and is working on restoring it. Anyone know a good flathead mechanic in either MN or close? It runs but he is looking to have it tweaked some.
thanks!

I suggest joining or contacting a local Early Ford V8 club chapter. They'll either have someone who tinkers on the engines in their free time or can refer you to a shop.

BTW, welcome and please post pictures of the truck.

Not sure what you mean by "garage" posts. But here's a way to post pics in a thread. The pics have to be somewhere on the Internet first.

Go to Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.

While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ghtsafter1.jpg

Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).

When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).

Your pic will be placed in the post.

Hope that helps.

I had never posted to the 'Garage' before, so I figured it out.

1. Click on 'Garage is empty, add now' in the header of one of your posts.

2. Click on 'Add a new vehicle' at the top of the page

3. Fill out the required information in the first section.

4. Fill out the optional information in the second and third sections if you wish.

5. In the fourth section browse for the photo you wish to add to the garage.

6. Click 'Save Changes'

7. Truck will now appear in your 'Garage' on your profile page.

we bought this one for parts. Since it had all the hood trim and we got the whole truck for cheaper than the trim separate.

Wow, all that in a parts truck, nice score!
Make sure you look carefully at the brake parts on both of them. The parts are hard to find so save what you can.
You can put the spare parts on a shelf inside those Chevy hubcaps!

After seeing pictures of your truck and the parts truck, you don't need any more running boards or tailgates.
