I would think 2500-4K for the repair myself. Customer pay.

That's what I was thinking. I don't like the idea of my truck having an oil leak, but it doesn't bother me bad enough to shell out 3 grand when I can just add a quart of oil every now and then. It's been almost 5,000 miles since the last oil change and the level on the dipstick is still full.

Ouch, that hurts! I never did end up having anything done to mine. I decided to just keep an eye on it and it never got any worse. In fact, I never even saw any oil in the driveway where I parked it. I could just see when I was under the truck that ththoil pan was wet and it looked like it was running down from somewhere at the rear of the motor. Some things I read made me suspect it was possibly the bed pan. I traded the truck in back in July on a 2018 with the 6.7. Man, that thing is sweet! My 2010 6.4 still only had 94,000 miles on it. But I just got the fever, started looking around, and I was hooked.
