Waiting on my oil pan to have the turbo drain done... I have a new pan gasket as well. I need to find out the size of the HX35 drain.

Got the oil pan back.
Changed out A mount.
New oil pan gasket, painted up the old pan after hitting it with a wire wheel.
Turbo oil return.
Here's where that sensor goes... appears to be a solenoid for the PCV system.
Old and new(er) together.

This is a quick paint idea of what I think would work well for a manifold. This way I can use the factory 2 piece manifold. This way I can get it closer to equal length.

Got it physically back in, but I need to wait for light again to button it all back up. Then it's onto the fuel system and wiring.

After the rain yesterday I got the motor completely lined up, bell housing bolts in, torque converter bolted in, starter bolted in and hooked up.
Back to working on the wiring.
There are some differences between the two harness styles. However, with a couple relays it should be no problem - just as I expected.

Went an hour away today to the junkyard just to find they hack all the gas tanks and lines out of the car. However I did find a few things.
A 96 4.9 manual with MAF. I took a few pictures for reference.

Old V-belt power steering. Pump was fine, but the bolts broke and the lines seized.

Looks much better without it. The '96 is much more low profile.

Power steering bracket removed. I just used the '96 as I didn't have a pulley puller and I want to convert to serpentine belt.

'96 bracket and power steering pump on. The pressure line bolted right up from the '96. The return line needed to be lengthened. I'm sure the '96 would have worked.

The routing of the '96 pressure line. I don't know why it runs around the steering gear.
