Cool opposites....

my brakes are the complete opposite... they are so soft and there is no braking stopping power until about an inch to the floor, then its very grabby... any thoughts? (sorry bout the old thread, just thought this was a good place to adress my problems...)

well fordge, sounds like you probably have air in your brake lines. if you have an ABS unit, bypass it. then bleed your brakes until you're sure theres no air left in the system. of course, check for leaks in the process. if you still don't have it right, you might need a new master cylinder. buy new, not rebuilt, as the main rebuilder out there produces garbage

If you bleed the brakes make sure you bleed the RABS unit (rear ABS module) if you have one. Its located under the driver side cab on the inside of the frame. They are notorious for causing problems, most bypass it.
