Why Does My Tailgate Have A Flex Fuel Badge?
There is a flex fuel badge on my tailgate, and the fuel cap says no E15-E85. I thought flex fuel vehicles could burn this ethanol crap? Going by the fuel cap warning, I can only run E10, which these days is just about all you can get unless you fuel up at the airport or marina.

Yes, sorry it is the '12 in the signature. Are all the 6.2's flex fuel? I was thinking someone may have swapped the tailgate out.
The flex fuel option gives you different fuel lines so the ethanol doesn't eat through them, correct? The internals of the engine are no different.
I do have to dig the manual out. So far I have only read specific topics.

Well, the manual is only making me more confused. It says "if equipped" for flex fuel, the filler cap will be yellow and there will be a sticker on the filler door. No sticker, and the filler cap is black. That leads me to believe the tailgate was replaced at some point. Why would someone replace the filler cap and peel the sticker off the door?
When I bought the truck I did a VIN search and happened across the build specs. That's how I know I have the snow plow prep front springs and the 10k gvw package. I'm going to try to find that again. I don't think I saved it anywhere.

That's been my default position so far. I am questioning it now because I have to drive up to Michigan next week and E20 is sold at just about every station in the area, and more stations around here are selling E20 and E85.

Well, I can understand then. All the 6.2's are flex fuel. I just double checked myself by looking at the available engines in '12. There is only one. The 8th digit in your vin# should be a 6. That represents the 6.2 flex fuel. It would have to be a different number to be none flex fuel. BTW, I have no sticker on the inside of my fuel door.
