Red Head Steering Box - Group Buy

Dont know who would be interested...I called the people at Red Head Gear box today and they offered a $35 dollar discount per-person. This isn't just on our Superduties but pretty much anything with a steering box. She said an order of 6 would be the minimum to get the $35 off.

Im up for it, just trying to see who else is. So far i have two people, would like to place an order within the week or so.

1. Philip Berardi (2000 F250 4x4)
2. Derrick Nester (1997 Dodge 2500 4x4)

Ummm... The timing isn't good, but I'm interested. I assume we don't all have to order the same thing, right? I've got an '01 X.

Be aware that the same issue that affects your Super Duty's P/S gearbox affected EVERY Ford integral P/S gearbox beginning in 1965.

Ford did not install needle bearings on the sector shaft, so within a short time, fluid begins leaking from this area.

Red Head takes the case, machines it, installs the needle bearings that Ford left out...on purpose...so they could sell a GAZILLION seal kits!

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of this flaw would you Bill, the missing needle bearing area of the pump ??? And Philip, nice going on the inquiry on the pumps, nice deal there...
