Another? on the new truck lol. It's a 1995 F150 with the 300I6. How many quarts of oil, and what weight? Guy who sold it to me said 6 quarts. Manual says crankcase is 5 but then at the bottom of the chart it says allow 1 qt for the filter? What are you guys using?

 

lets add up: 5+1 = 6... there you go!.

 

6 qts w/ filter, 10w30

 

Mine reads alittle over. It is between the cross section and the "F" in Full. The manual says it can be over and in that range after an oil change though.
