Iv'e never had one.
I was out in Texas at Palo Duro just before heading home,I had forgot to check the temps for the night so I knew which sleeping bag to toss in my tent.I asked a couple walking bye what the low was for the night, and he told me (easy night,no need for sub zero bag) and he asked; No reception here uh? The smile and look of envy on his face when I told him I didn't even have a phone was priceless.
These people out there living fake life's,addicted to their phones and trying to show up each other digitally.Like, your missing the whole point of life! Sharing is of course awesome but not to try and show up your brother. What's saddest imo is that parents are getting their kids this junk too.Toss that junk out and take them camping, fishing and hiking I say.Go show 'em the real world and teach them values and connect. Our culture isn't progressing,is declining.I dunno, maybe I'm just getting old before my time.........but I'm ok with it.

Not just you. My eldest is one of the only ones in her class without a phone.... And she's in 2nd grade! I feel very blessed that I'm able to raise my daughters on a farm similar to the one I grew up on. That's where I learned what it takes to make $1 and the kind of hard decisions life can present sometimes. I saw things there that a lot of people in the world will never see and I hope they learn some of the same lessons.
