And another hopefully '56 T-750
Well, just talked to another person parting ways with an old Ford. 1956 T-750, runs, and drives, full air brakes, etc., etc. It's got some rust in the door bottoms, but it comes with extra doors. A damaged front fender, but a pair of "real clean" extra fenders, and some other misc. sheet metal. Hoping to make this one happen too. It's got a clear title, and if I get it, I will be the third owner. It's unmolested, and has a 20' tilting flat bed with side boards. My fingers are crossed, that's for sure.

Nope, sold my 2001 Dodge 3500 dually 4x4. Got enough to pick up some old Ford (trucks actually worth owning) and keep some in the bank, and give in to some concessions to the wife (new fence in the front yard, replace her cell phone, etc., etc., and finish the school shopping for the kids).

Hi Joe way too bad we are so far apart. Good deal on my 56, even with original tires,
even 1956 air in them. Too bad its got juice brake which I absolutely hate. Also do
know that air brake backing plates from the 1960s slam right on the 53-56s. When we
made the dump truck up out of the F9 fire truck my son got the whole system out of
a 1967 F900 they are all bolt ons. Paid 50 bucks for the whole 67 and junked it for $300/
dont worry the only thing any good on the 67 was braking system and little things I
saved gauges switchs steering box wheel. The kid put the whole rear end in it, which
already has spring brake cans. So I end up with a 20,000 mile truck no doubt those are
pumping miles. Next stunt is putting on the P.S/ from the 67. The new engine he put
in already has the PS pump so thats half the battle. The truck goes nicely down the
hyways with its OD. Clark all my trucks had OD. and PS except the fire/dump which
will be done before snow, I mean It steers good but with a plow errrrr. sam

Twisp WA: There's a 1956 Ford COE wrecker parked 'in the middle of town' next to repair shop on the west side of Hwy 20. When was the last time you saw one?
On the south side of town, there's dozens of old piles parked in a field including an early 50's Dodge wrecker. North side of town, there a '30 Model AA flatbed atop a sign...20' up.
There's also a bunch of ancient tractors in Twisp and further south on Hwy 153. In Brewster, north side of Hwy 17, there's an ancient AC Mack Bulldog and old farm equipment resting in sheds.
