IT'S TIME FOR WHEELS & TIRES ... IDEAS?

Hey guys,

So here is my setup now.... see sig for details

This is a thread that I posted a while ago when I was trying to figure out what to buy for an 18" wheel & 35" tire set up.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...lp-please.html

From the thread it looks like I need a 305 tire and a 0 (zero) offset or backspacing on my wheels to push 35's and not rub. Keep in mind I have an E99 with a leveling kit and my 315 75 r16's rub right now when I am turned all the way.

I would like to have mud terrains or really aggressive all terrains. Here are the wheels from les schwab I am looking at.

Google Images

I am currently working in Hawaii but I am moving back to WA on the 17th. I want to call Les Schwab now to make sure that they have everything ordered up and ready for me. I would like to hop off of that plane and drive straight there to put them on haha.

Anyways. Let me know what you guys think. Your input is appreciated.

I just posted in another thread that I really like the Firestone M/T's and that they are wearing really well. They look pretty sweet too.

Do they come in a 35" tire? 305's maybe? and will they fit on the wheels I linked above?

They look BA. Im just wondering if they will fit the wheels I want and if I can get the offset or backspacing right so that they dont rub. I like the tread. They work well in the snow and mud? how loud are they on pavement? I dont really know where I will be going after college with my job. Maybe Hawaii, so if thats the case I want a MT that doesnt wear too fast on pavement too.

They work real well off road, I haven't used them in the snow. They are pretty loud.
I can hear them over my truck but they don't bother me at all.
Even my wife isn't bothered by them.
Most of my driving is done on pavement.

Has anyone considered the Bridgestone Duravis HD500's?
It looks like a very strong tire.
I just put on a set of Michelin LTX MS2 because I could not bring myself to check them out - I was plain out chicken. I have had numerous sets of Michelin LTX MS's and just could not pull the trigger. My buddy with an X said "cluk, cluk, cluk.

Oh well,

Im looking for MT's. Those both look like AT's. So i havent really considered those and haven't heard about either of them too much.

Do they sell them thinner though? my whole thing is that I want to offset my wheels enough and have the correct width of tire so I don't rub and can stick with my leveling kit.

TrXus STS | Interco Tire This is what they have. I have 14.5 wide and I dont rub much at all, just a little bit at a hard turn on the spring
