Talking Pakage deal 53-56 trucks

Well, just got off the phone with a lady in the next town over. Just secured a package deal of trucks, and parts. The deal comes with a '56 F-100, about 90% complete, and pretty straight, another '56 F-100 or 250, about 75% complete, and pretty straight, and '56 cab, complete, with front clip, and a 53-5 cab, complete with front clip, and a few more parts and pieces. So, I'll get some pictures tomorrow when I go to pay for them, and arrange to pick them up, and will soon be able to catalog some parts to sell, and some parts to build myself a truck or two......

Thanks, I'm looking forward to pictures too. These are from the ad. There are several more parts not pictured.

Definately a nice score looks like you've got yourself a utility box too. Wish I was closer too. Congrates on a great deal. How's that 53 your working on coming along.

The '54 Resto got shut down, as the owner wanted more than could be accomplished in the time he wanted it. My 53-55 Big Job, is currently tore back down in preperations for moving into my garage for the winter, where it will be treated to a complete chassis/suspension rebuild, and painting, and a newer engine/tranny installed. Then, it will comeout, and the sheet metal will go in, and get worked over and painted. I have everything I need, almost, to finish it for the last time, and I hope to have it actually done, completely restored/rebuilt, by next summer for some fun cruising. It's going on a Pete air ride rear diff, and newer front suspension, as well as a 391, rebuilt with 390 top end, and a Spicer 5 speed. By then, my father will hopefully have the '55 F-750 up here from Nevada to add to the collection, as well as the '55 F-350 pick-up. The '64 Futura Sport Hard Top will hopefully no be too far behind. So, right now, I have a '53 F-600 parted out (cab, and doors are gone as well as the 254) but everything is still here. Then, these trucks will be here through out the next week, plus my Big Job, and the two from Nevada. That's a good start, for now. Still not enough though...

Congrats on the new acquisitions. Looks like you rescued a few that might have eventually wasted away.

Yeah, they got screaming neighbors, so it's all gotta go. I also, bwahahahaha, just got off the phone (about 5 mins ago) with a guy that has a '56 T-700 or T-800 he's cutting loose. I'm hoping to swing a deal on that too. That would make me content with my collection....He has a couple sets of Big Job fenders, so I would be able to have a '53 Big Job, '54 Big Job, '55 Big Job, and a '56 Big Job. Two being tandems, and two being singles..and possibly even have a F-100 for a driver....now, that would be sweet.....

I saw that ad on craigslist. Looked like a pretty good deal. If I didn't have 14 vehicles already i would have loved to jump on that. Would have been a pain to haul it all back up here, at least 3-4 trips, but probably would have been worth it. Had I donr it, my backyard and shop would have been land-locked!!!

May have to blast down that way sometime when I get my '56 wrapped up and tour your collection!
